3) Close grip chinups

This exercise aims for the middle back, the lower section of the lats as well as the serratus anterior.
The subject grips the chin-up bar with a close grip (hands at about a palm’s width from each-other) then slowly pulls him/herself up till his/her chest touches the bar. Pausing for a moment lowers his/her body to the starting position slowly and under control.
