5) Flat bench cable crossovers.

This exercise aims for the middle pecs and especially the inner part of the muscle. Its execution is the same as that of the flat bench dumbbell flys, only the subject swaps the two dumbbells for two handles attached to a couple of floor level pulleys, one on each side of the bench. The exercise provides a fuller range of motion than the dumbbell variant does, it also provides continuous resistance by the nature of the pulley system used.
