17) Standing bent-over cable laterals.

The aim of this exercise is the same as that of the Standing bent-over dumbbell laterals, namely: working the rear heads of the deltoids.
It presents a few advantages over the former however. First of all it allows for a longer range of motion, and secondly it assures continuous non gravity-dependant pressure on the target muscles.
The exercise is done using two floor-level pulleys and crossing the two cables in front of the body. The cables are then pulled to the sides and up in much the same fashion as the Standing bent-over dumbbell laterals were executed.
Special consideration: - don’t forget to keep the torso bent forward at about 45 degrees or more.
-don’t forget the “barrel hugging” arms position either.
