1) Upright rows

This exercise aims to sculpt separation between the pecs and the trapezius, work the trapezius and the frontal part of the deltoids.
The subject begins this exercise standing upright, grasping the barbell with both hands at about half-shoulder-width apart.
The barbell is then pulled up - while kept close to the body - all the way to the chin.
Extra considerations: - it is very important to do this exercise strictly, keeping the back straight and focusing on the quality of contraction in the trapezius and deltoids.
- it can also be done with a short bar cable instead of the barbell.
