5) Lunges

An exercise designed to develop the front of the thighs.
The subject holds a barbell across the shoulders behind the neck. Stepping forth with one leg, lowers the body until the knee of the pother leg almost reaches the floor. He/she then pushes up to starting position.
Extra considerations: one can finish the reps for one leg then move on to the other or do the exercise alternatively for both legs.
